Each piece measures 31.2 x 29.9 x 1.3 cm (12.25 x 11.75 x .5 in)
10 pieces can form a triangle with sides approximately 1 meter (3 feet) long.

M.C. Escher's unique artwork takes on a new life with the Lizards SoftPuzzle(TM), based on Escher's periodic lizard print.The lizards in this set can be connected in endless configurations, including three dimensionally, limited only by one's imagination. True to the idea portrayed in Escher's lithograph, Reptiles, the Lizard SoftPuzzle(TM) brings MCE's lizards to an interactive, three dimensional life that will delight both children and adults.

Use as an educational puzzle, desk mat or an accent piece.

Each identical lizard piece is a tessellation that connects perfectly with another without any space between to form a never ending puzzle. Additional sets create larger and more complex patterns. Combine two or more Large Lizards SoftPuzzles(TM) to create a floor mat for a child's play area.

The lizards can be used to introduce children to Escher's art and demonstrate the ingenuity of MCE's repeating artwork which is based on geometry, symmetry, repetition and rotation of identical figures.
