World of Escher Inc. began in 1994 as a retail store at Westlake Center in downtown Seattle, WA. Jim & Vicki Johnson, who are still the owners of the World of Escher store today, operated the retail store for 3 years. World of Escher has existed as a virtual store since 1995. Paul Schofield in San Antonio, TX created and still owns, maintains and improves the website and facebook site for www.worldofescher.com.
