We received many great entries (over 250) for this contest so we had to pre-judge all of them and post only the best 37. You can find them here on the following 6 pages.

Tessellation is a combination of mathematics and artistic ability.
Do you have what it takes? Compete with entries from all over the world. See
your work displayed on the Internet. Win prizes.
Each entry will be judged individually, and a winner will be announced. There will be
prizes for each winner from our online store.
All winners will be included in our "Hall of
Fame".
Rules
- Due to the number of great artworks entered, each entry will be pre-judged before being posted in the contest. This is to keep the quality of the voting at a maximum.
- Acceptable materials: watercolor; color pencils; pen & ink; marker;
computer-generated.
- The symmetry art works of M.C. Escher should serve as the model for all entries.
- Entries may be scanned and E-mailed to ; or hard copies may be mailed to us (email us for the address) and we will scan the image
for you.
- Entries submitted by E-mail should conform with the Technical section below.
- Mailed in entries must be no larger than 8.5" x 11" with no matting or frames,
we suggest making a color copy and submitting that copy.
- All entries received become the property of World of Escher, Inc. and will not be
returned, unless such materials are provided at the cost of the entrant.
- World of Escher will not accept any copyrighted images. It is up to the contestant to verify copyright status.
- World of Escher will not market any images. We reserve the right to display the images in our gallery.
- All entries must be accompanied by the Contest Entry Form. These can be E-mailed in as attachments to the image, or affixed to the back of those entries that are mailed in.
- Decisions of the panel of judges are final.
- One entry per contestant.

Technical Requirements
For electronically submitted entries:
- Images must be in the .jpg or .png format and must be attached via email. (We no longer accept files that are not in an approved format.)
- Image files will be converted, if necessary, by the World of Escher and no file will be larger than 100k bytes.
- The Contest Entry Form must be inline or attached to the email with the graphic.
